I wish I’d had the courage to live a life true to myself, not the life others expected of me.

What a believer will say: I have lived a life that God has given me. And I know God is satisfied with me.

Second of the five most common regrets when a person dies

I wish I didn’t work so hard.

What a believer will say:

This work that I did was just a little push for my livelihood in this world given to me by God. I am happy I worked for 60% for my next life by following as much as I can from the Quran.

I wish I’d had the courage to express my feelings

What a believer will say: I do not regret how I reacted to others. All emanated for the sake of God.

Fourth most common regrets when a person dies

I wish I had stayed in touch with my friends.

What a believer will say: I will not miss my friends or my family for I will meet all of them in a happy state in the hereafter.

Fifth most common regrets when a person dies

I wish that I had let myself be happier.

What a believer will say : This life is 40% joy. Heaven waits for me and I’d be 100% happier which is ever more and everlasting
